Gus Skinas of Octave Records on the LCD-X

Our friends over at PS Audio have recently launched a record label dedicated to high-resolution audio and covering 100% of the artist's expenses! Octave Records chief engineer and mastering guru, Gus Skinas recently acquired a pair of LCD-X's and had this to say about them:

“These are very detailed and revealing headphones. I can catch all kinds of little flaws that I would miss while listening on the speakers. And the LCD-X’s provide what I feel is an accurate representation of what is going on in the low frequencies. There’s no low end hype like there is on a lot of other headphones, and this neutrality is really important when making mastering decisions. They are detailed and accurate across the audio spectrum. And they can go loud while maintaining that spectral integrity.”
